Boutique Theatre has been fortunate enough to partner with Melbourne Polytechnic and offer hands on practical experience for students who are studying a Diploma of Costume for Performance. Over the last two weeks, Costume Coordinator Isabel Kennedy, one of the Costume Designers Fiona Pitt and Costume Educator Amanda Silk have visited our studio to fit the actors with their costume pieces. There is also a larger team of students all assisting and creating these beautiful costumes back at Melbourne Polytechnic HQ, all tirelessly taking time out of their mid-semester break to work on this production with us.

As you can see in the gallery above, even in calico, these costumes look a treat! We can’t wait to see the finished product!
